    have a bit of enthusiasm and vary your tone, pitch and pace to emphasise certain points!!

  5. Eh, Mate. I am a Human Resources Director. I have been doing this for nearly 30 years. I appreciate what you are trying to do, and that is to help others. Do keep in mind that most, if not all, of the Human Resources professionals have heard them all.We know a canned or prepared speech from another. I suggest it is best to be “genuine” and “sincere”. Otherwise, most of us have what is called the “bullshit” radar. We DO NOT HIRE bullshitters. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me!

  6. This is genius. If done subtly this would indeed highlight the words “you need me” “there’s a golden opportunity in me” and “offer me the job”.
    People will not notice the gently laying the hand on the table if you are already using them a little. You can steer the conversation through subconscious cues!

  10. I am going to practice this technique, I think it exudes confidence. A few good questions you can ask your interviewer….. 1. How do you differentiate your company from the competitors? 2. What do you see ahead for your company in the next 5yrs? 3. What were the strengths and weaknesses of the last person who held this job? 4. What are the most immediate challenges of the position that need to be addressed in the 1st three months? 5. Performance expectations of this position overthe 1st 12mo.?

  15. the thing is that this doesnt work on somone you dont have rapport with. no to mention you cant make anybody do anything that they dont want to do without it really being in there best interest. you have to have something they need or they are going to see right through you. i dont know how it is in whatever country hes from but, most americans wont fall for it unless you trance them. and that requires trust…

  20. @iirigo haha it’s been a very long time, but just from the top of my head, I remember “Do it” over and over again, and “see you at the top” meaning at the top of this screen, where the website address is written, telling you to go type it in.

  23. If I was the interviewer I don’t think I would like those answers. The strengths are so vague it’s like saying “I have no strengths, but I like to use words that sound good to hide that.” They can be said about anyone, don’t show a big enough picture of the specific person. The weaknesses was a non-answer. I see lack of acknowledgment of weaknesses as unrealistic pride or deception. The “golden opportunity” sounds like canned language with extra sugar. It turns me off.
